The City of Newcastle is now taking applications for seasonal employment in the Street/Parks Department. Work will consist of general park maintenance, mowing (which requires operating a riding mower) weed eating and other work as required. This position pays $10/hour.

Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer
The City of Newcastle is currently accepting applications for the position of Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer. Under general supervision, performs a variety of work in the office and in the field to enforce City regulations/ordinances. Building, Mechanical, Plumbing & Electrical certifications are preferred. Salary range for this position is $35,000 - $45,000
International Code Council (ICC) inspector certifications in both residential and commercial construction preferred. Must be an Oklahoma licensed inspector for building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing. Candidates with comparable qualifications and experience may be considered.
Must have valid Oklahoma Driver's License and driving record must meet or surpass guidelines as set forth by the City.
